Proximity

The Proximity feature can be used to find which of your vehicles is nearest to:

  1. Another vehicle
  2. Point of Interest
  3. Manually Address Entry

This is useful for assisting with job scheduling, or assisting a broken down vehicle.

 

Step 1. 

To run Proximity, select the Proximity icon from the top blue navigation menu bar:

Step 2. 

A pop up will open where you can select the item you wish to run your proximity search against. This is where you select a vehicle registration, point of interest or type the address in. Click 'Search' to run the Proximity query:

Step 3. 

All of your vehicles will be plotted on the map, and the vehicle list will display them order of 'nearest to farthest' from your proximity search criteria:

Step 4. 

It is also possible to select one of the flag icons next to the vehicles on the left hand vehicle list to generate the Google Maps Journey Route Plan between the selected vehicle and proximity marker.

Step 5. 

The map plot will generate from Google Maps the step by step journey route plan as shown below:
