The BCAN CAN-Bus Report is available to vehicles installed with Fuel Smart Pro solutions (Calamp OBD devices & Squarell devices) and takes telematics data from the vehicle via the direct CAN-Bus connection. To access the 'Journey Report with CAN Data (BCAN)' report, follow the below instructions:
Step 1.
Highlight the vehicle or vehicles you wish to run the journey report for from the left-hand vehicle list.
Step 2.
Select the 'Reports' icon from the top blue menu bar.
Step 3.
Select 'Journey Report with CAN Data (BCAN)' from the 'Please Select Report' drop down.
Step 4.
Select the Date/Time 'From' and 'To' from the Date & Time Selection options shown below.
Step 5.
Click 'Journey Report with CAN Data (BCAN)' from the 'Please Select Report' drop down menu.
Step 6.
Click 'Load Report' to run the report against your selected criteria.
The 'Journey Report with CAN Data (BCAN)' presents more data than the standard 'Journey Report'. due to the additional information being read from the vehicle CAN-Bus. The report fields presented are as follows:
- Start Time
- Stop Time
- Start Location
- Stop Location
- Duration
- Distance (miles)
- Idle Time
- Excessive Idle Time
- Stopped Time
- Fuel Used on Idle (gallon)
- MPG
- Fuel Used (gallons)
To access the Extended CAN-Bus information select the arrow icon to the left-hand side of the journey. The extended attributes presented (subject to them being presented on the CAN-Bus of the vehicle) are:
- Trip Time
- Driving Time
- Cruise Control
- PTO Time
- Fuel Used on PTO
- Odometer Journey End
- Driver ID
- Harsh Brake Count
- Excessive Idle Counts
- Duration RPM Over
- Harsh Brake over 1.5m2
- Fuel Used Driving
- Fuel Level Journey End
- Working Hours
Against each journey there is also a quick launch icon at the far-right hand side which will automatically load the 'Vehicle Score Card Report' for that journey.
