Scania Quick Install Guide
1. Remove the fuse box cover by unclipping the dash end cap panel and removing the fuse box cover (all on clips so no unscrewing required)
2. The end panel pulls off with little force, you will hear the clips detaching as you pull on the end cap panel:
3. Once the end cap panel is removed, the front fuse panel can be removed by pulling the edge of the panel towards you:
4. Unscrew the fuse box and place to one side. There are 2 x T27 screws located in the top left and right of the fuse board. Once the screws are removed, fold the fuse panel towards you and it will detach easily with very little force required.
5. Locate the vertical mounted ECU, this is where the CAN connections required for Squarell are located:
6. Locate the yellow, white and grey twisted pair and separate the cables to allow connection of the Squarell CAN Cliq. Place the yellow wire in to the CAN high slot which is the inside of the CAN-Cliq connector next to the central join, and then place the white wire in to the CAN low slot which is the outer side of the connector next to the plastic clips. Secure the connector by adding a cable tie, ensure the CAN wires are coming in and out of the high/low slots and have not moved as you snapped the connector closed.
DAF XF/XG Quick Install Guide
1. Locate and remove the fuse panel
2. Remove 4 x T25 screws on lower fuse board panel cover
3. Locate 32 pin green multi pin plug and look for the red and yellow twisted pair

4. Place the red wire in to the CAN high slot which is the inside of the CAN-Cliq connector next to the central join, and then place the yellow wire in to the CAN low slot which is the outer side of the connector next to the plastic clips.
5. Secure the connector by adding a cable tie, ensure the CAN wires are coming in and out of the high/low slots and have not moved as you snapped the connector closed:
Volvo Quick Install Guide
1. Remove fuse board cover on the top of dashboard by pulling the exposed lip/flap straight up towards you
2. Locate and remove the 4 x T27 screws securing the fuse board. Lift the fuse board from the left hand side until vertical, and then temporarily secure in place to allow you to locate the CAN lines.
3. Locate blue plug on the rear of the fuse board which contains the CAN-High and CAN-Low connections. Place the yellow wire in to the CAN-High position which is the inside of the CAN-Cliq connector next to the central join, and then place the green wire in to the CAN-Low position which is the outer side of the connector next to the plastic clips.
4. The Volvo also requires a secondary Data Cliq connection, this needs to be placed on a twisted pair located on an orange connector plug in the top right corner of the fuse board area. Place the orange wire in to the CAN high slot which is the inside of the Data-Cliq CAN connector next to the central join, and then place the green wire in to the Data-Cliq CAN low slot which is the outer side of the connector next to the plastic clips. Secure the connectors by adding a cable tie, ensure the CAN wires are coming in and out of the high/low slots and have not moved as you snapped the connector closed:
MAN Quick Install Guide
1. Remove the top black trim panel above the passenger footwell area by pulling towards you:
2. Remove the two wing nuts by turning them anticlockwise. Slide the panel to the left 1mm and then pull the panel off towards you with little force:
3. Remove the fuse panel by removing the two screws in the top corners and then folding towards you.
4. Once the panel is removed, locate the 3 plugs behind the panel where the top and bottom ones are black and the middle one is brown. The brown plug should be numbered 4 and labelled EI01, this has the required CAN lines in.
5. All the CAN lines are white in colour so the CAN high and CAN low need to be located by reading the numbers printed on the cables. Cable 173 is CAN-High and cable 174 is CAN-Low. These will be a twisted pair located off of the brown E101 plug from the above picture.
6. Place cable 173 in the CAN-High position (inner side of the green CAN-Cliq connector) and cable 174 in the CAN-Low position (outer side of the green CAN-Cliq connector) as shown below:
7. Secure the green CAN-Cliq connector by adding a cable tie, ensure the CAN wires are coming straight in and out of the CAN-High & CAN-Low positions ensuring they have not moved as you clicked the connector closed:
Mercedes Quick Install Guide
1. The CAN-Bus pick up location is located in the fusel behind the passenger seating area, the first step is to remove the lower panel in the footwell area.
2. Pull the lower fuse panel cover towards you using the two handles to remove it.
3. Remove the 2 x Torx T20 screws located on the bottom of the main fuse panel cover as shown below. The left hand screw is behind the OBD cover, lift to remove and access this screw.
4. Remove the 3 x Torx T20 screws from the left hand dash end cap and remove panel.
5. Remove the black plastic trim panel from the top of the fusel panel cover, and then remove the 3 x Torx T20 screws as shown below. The fuse panel can then be removed by pulling towards you.
6. Remove the OBD connector from the back of the fuse panel cover by using the black slider housing of the connector.
7. Locate the grey central 18 pin connector in the top central location behind the fuse panel. The first green & blue twisted pair on the left hand side of the connector are the required CAN lines for the Squarell connection. Place the blue wire in to the CAN-High position which is the inside of the CAN-Cliq connector next to the central join, and then place the green wire in to the CAN-Low position which is the outer side of the connector next to the plastic clips.
